Annual Meeting
The annual ABASM Meeting is held each year at the beginning of November. The meeting includes a Friday night session and an all day Saturday session. The meeting will have a keynote speaker and both oral and poster sessions. Undergraduate and graduate students are particularly invited to present. Faculty and professional microbiologists are encouraged to judge and interact with presenters. Please find the meeting overview and registration below.

Note: When you register the form is being collected by Pitt-Greensburg but the meeting is at Mount Aloysius College! Registration is open until October 16, 2026. You can select to attend Friday and Saturday, Friday only, or Saturday only. You will be asked to include your abstract if you will be presenting. You will select your choices but payment for the meeting will be collected during on-site registration.
Please note you must be an ABASM branch member to receive the discount in registration.
Deadline to register: October 16, 2026.
This deadline is necessary for session planning and food services.
Last minute attendees are welcome but ability to present may be limited and abstracts will not be published.

Travel Funding
We are pleased to offer a limited number of travel grants to support participants who may face financial barriers to attending the conference. Priority will be given to students, early-career researchers, and attendees from 2-year colleges. Please indicate on your registration if you would like to be considered, and provide a brief explanation of need.
Deadline to apply: October 16, 2026 (within meeting registration form).
